Most kids learn how to ride bikes on even ground. Me? I had a crash course in speeding downhill without training wheels. I think I turned out fine thanks to my padding and helmet. I continue to dive into new projects fearlessly but at the same time, I still do so with my favourite safety net called “preparation”.
With that, I tell stories and update tweets to try and share what the world is up to. My name is Maham Shakeel and I’m a journalist.
I’m currently in my last year of journalism at Ryerson University to learn more about and get better at what I’m already doing. I am also currently the features editor of CanCulture Magazine, and I continue to write for campus publications.
